Returns Policy

RETURNED MERCHANDISE POLICY

All products sold on GreatInflatableKayaks.com are products from companies with proven reputations and Great Warranties. These products work like they're supposed to work and are backed by companies whose warranties and philosophies match my own. Companies that do what they say and back it up with "Superior Customer Service" when problems do occur.

All Kayaks and Boats offered by GreatInflatableKayaks.com have 3 year warranties. In case of problems please follow the warranty instructions. We will help in every way possible to help resolve warranty issues for our customers.

No merchandise may be returned under any circumstances unless said merchandise is defective. Any unauthorized returns will not be re-stocked or refunded. Please note that refunds for authorized returns occur only when similar merchandise is not available for replacement. We will not accept any repaired or patched boats

Please DO NOT ship back unauthorized returns. Otherwise, your returned merchandise will be automatically rejected and you will be responsible for the shipping costs to return the merchandise back to you. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL REJECTED OR REFUSED MERCHANDISE QUALIFY FOR A RETURN CLAIM.

Great Inflatable Kayaks must be notified via an email detailing all damaged, missing parts, or mistakenly shipped products within 48 hours of package delivery. NO Exceptions. Send your notification to: Sales@GreatInflatableKayaks.com 

NOTE: Great Inflatable kayaks may occasionally request digital photos of allegedly damaged or defective products. We reserve the right to require this information only as needed.

You will be issued a Returned Merchandise Authorization claim number by email. This number must be affixed to the package for proper processing in our Returns Department. 

All claims for "Small Products" associated with damaged package/product in transit will result in a Pre-Paid call tag being issued to have the merchandise picked up by the shipping carrier (i.e. UPS, FedEx, etc).  

All "Large" oversized/flat rate shipping merchandise return shipping costs must be originally be paid by you, with financial reimbursement by Great Inflatable Kayaks if the merchandise is found to be defective.

All return claims involving allegedly defective (non-damaged) or mis-shipped merchandise will result in the following action:

             1.   A Returned Merchandise Authorization claim number will be sent to you to be affixed to the return shipment.

             2.   Once received, the merchandise will be inspected to determine whether the order was either mis-shipped or the product was defective. You are not responsible for return shipping cost if the return claim qualifies for product replacement. However, if order was correctly shipped and returned product is deemed non-defective, you will be held responsible for the original return shipping costs incurred by Great Inflatable Kayaks and any additional shipping costs required to re-ship the said merchandise back to you.

            3.  If non-defective merchandise received us does not qualify for replacement, you are fully responsible for all shipping transit costs. Great Inflatable Kayaks reserves the right to take ownership of said non-defective merchandise if you do not reimburse the return shipping costs and outbound re-ship fees within 60 days. We will not offer financial reimbursement for returned non-defective products.

Package Guidelines for returned Items: 

  • Returned products should be in the condition they were received in, as well as in their original packaging.
  • Pack the item(s) securely.
  • Please remember to include all warranty cards and manuals.
  • Please include a copy of your receipt and a brief note declaring the reason for the return.
  • Send your package via UPS, FedEx or insured Parcel Post. (You are responsible for return product shipping charges.)
  • Affixed the Returned Merchandise Authorization claim number to the return shipment. 

CLAIMS FILED AFTER 48 HOURS

All return merchandise claims filed after 48 hours of original delivery date are strictly defined as a Manufacturer Warranty Issue. You are fully responsible for all return shipping costs, regardless of whether merchandise is found to be defective. Abusive wear and tear of products may not necessarily qualify a returned product for warranty coverage. If merchandise is found to be defective, Great Inflatable Kayaks will be responsible for replacement product shipping costs.
